Let our thoughts be alike. Consciousness and temptations be one. Let’s utilize it optimally. We are lost as to how to think about a real city matrix, which solves most of our problems. History is not a subject to learn but real essence is to experience the pain and tyranny of humanity before evolution of real technology.
Let sunlight chisel and winds tessellate the responsive model of our habitations. The quality of environ-urban-matrix can be freed into amalgamating bionic level forms. which will govern the overall volumetric coefficients of future cities….JIIA 2004

“The concept stage of the project has a elliptical & spherical profile house on 300 sq yd lot. The form encompasses a multi level house planned in the lost functional way. The house would be raised on columns in such a way that the ground dives below it and receives enough sunlight. The built form housing services around this open area expands incoming wind further cooling it before entering the main building with a northeast fountain. Above this point is the main entry at 5′ level. Formal drawing room & dining areas are at 4′ level. Kitchen and other activities are intelligently arranged above.”

“Manuj was involved in the architectural work of my house. I can only say that he is a genius at his work. The creativity that he shows and “out of the box” ideas he has really work well. I’ve even seen some of his work on concept houses and I think that it is only a matter of time before he becomes a reputed person in his field.”

Architecture in a sense is a kind of evolution for the benefit of any living being. The evolution of architecture basically is a process which finds it’s way from time immemorial dating back to a thousand millenniums when the process of stirring occurred in nature and the universe was formed. When a rare cloud of obscuring matter was converted by the force of mutual gravity of the particles into some defined shape called galaxy which also had a typical spherical, elliptical, spiral form. This galaxy with it’s bright center consisting of billions of stars one of which is our own sun. The architecture of nature evolved hence had it’s shape in the form of a sphere. Time was the fourth dimension which led to the change of form, size or it’s location. Otherwise things would definitely be all the more the same if time was not there.
Probably, sun was split by the process of time itself (due to passing of some other star whose gravity broke some chunk) which led to the formation of planets of the solar system-large and small. These started cooling at a faster rate than the sun itself due to their relatively smaller size and the earth was one of these nine planets. The architecture of all the celestial bodies was a sphere owing to the fact that they were fluid at one time and solidified later on adding the word “rigidity” to the context of architecture.
Probably then the differences in earth’s pressure led to the formation of the highs and the lows. Water standard was a relative measure adopted by nature to distinguish the higher land and the lower land. After that a squall of thunder caused by the vapor of water due to sun led to the formation of life on earth. This flash of thunder can be compared to the flash of imagination of any great inventor and hence evolution of life on earth started-as an amoeba-it’s irregular shape questioning for some definition. Nature categorized life as flora and fauna.
The plants also evolved on earth as well as sea to convert the carbon dioxide into oxygen. The composition was balanced by fauna doing the reverse cycle.
The architecture of the planet is also defined very well in function. Each of it’s part behaves for the benefit of the organism. The leaves gain energy from sunlight, the roots to collect water from the soil and act as a foundation. The stem is a central spine for the transit of sap. The seed for the future evolution and the flower as a aesthetic to pull insects to get the seed germinated over a larger area. They themselves don’t move but their parts move.
The stem is cylindrical in nature like a pipe or column in architecture. This branches into pockets creating privacy for the leaves and ensure coverage. Their is no defined geometry in the pattern because it has to catch maximum energy from the sun. Nature unlike us doesn’t follow strict geometrical pattern and create such spaces which are visually more comfortable and soothing to any sensitive person and it’s shade also protects someone. Hence the aesthetics and function both are required in architecture.By aesthetics, i do not mean visually striking or impression making. It should be visually such that it provides some rest to the eyes.
The eyes themselves remind me of an interesting process of evolution. It is said that sun itself was the source of evolution of the eyes. In animal beings, the evolution of eyes occurred when two regions of the body started developing as a result of thinning skin and becoming more sensitive to the sun then any other source. After that could the nature be see as it is.
Nature has awarded us with five senses-sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. Each of them has a specific purpose. These have evolved through ages as it’s work continues. The thought created in us have led to the formation of human beings. We have had a basic requirement starting with food besides air and heat etc. Feeding ourselves is the basic natural process without which we cannot survive. It is necessary for us because burning of food lets us maintaining necessary heat.
